Close to Jesus on the cross

April 5, 2021 by albertscharbach

As I began to pray the Rosary before an icon of Holy Mary tonight the words cut through my mind: you will serve me this semester.

Praying the Jesus Prayer — over and over — I felt very close to Jesus, especially Jesus on the cross. It was a closeness I haven’t felt in so long. I go to bed in great peace in my soul about the future. O Jesus, in dark times I will trust you.
