Oh, what a joy it is to be one of your own, my God. Today I just finished reading C.S. Lewis’ Surprised by Joy. What happiness did I afterward experience during my morning prayer to recite the Apostles Creed. C.S. Lewis redefines joy as a great yearning that he experienced in his early life. O, Father, what happiness is there but to know your love and what joy is there but in a wholly consuming desire to be united with you.
