I just listened.

May 25, 2021 by albertscharbach

Jesus, I feel like there’s been so much, but when I’ve finally come to you I have nothing to say. But maybe that’s a good thing. The other day, after Keelan’s college graduation, I was waiting around Davidson for her to be ready to leave and took a walk in the woods. I sat in prayer and just listened.

Prayer Journal, May 21, 2019

Davidson gave us this ‘diploma’ as a gift and framed it for us.
It reads:

To all who the present document comes:
Perpetual greeting in the Lord
By this document we declare that
Isaac Ian Scharbach
should be held in honor
both for his progress toward the Bechelor of Arts Degree
as well as for the may and great services he has rendered (the college) us.
In Witness of which action we have affixed our signatures and the seal of this college

President Carol Quillen
Byron McCrae, Dean of Students
Angie Dewberry, Registrar

Keelan was two years ahead of Isaac at Davidson. Isaac would have graduated last week.
