O God, I thank you for your consolation and your joy you give in addition to your path to follow. It is a gift upon gift. Forgive, my lack of patience in trials. Help me to rise up with courage to take my cross again.
I know, Lord Jesus, when I worship in the Eucharist, that you are the Giver of all that is good and that I owe all my pain and honor to you. … In moments of darkness, O Lord, preserve even at least a little of this in my heart.
