Heavenly Father, Oh, how could I ever forget you and reject your mercy and help. No matter how hard I push, how hurried and anxious I am, no matter how late I stay awake, all is in vain without you, O God. Deliver me from such deprivation of your Spirit. May I always seek you, may I never rush ahead of you, but abandon myself to you, trusting entirely in your providence. No success is found without you, but only anxiety. But with you, Lord, is found peace, utter peace that is not of this world. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, Lord, that I may never reject your peace and find not worldly success, but your eternal joy and contentment.
