O Holy Spirit, I adore thee
lead me along thy path
Enlighten me, inspire me,
strengthen me, and console me
I give myself to thee
only let me know your will
– From a loose page of paper in 2014
We came across these words not in a prayer journal, but on a loose page of notebook with few short-term reminders on the other side. One of those lines had the words “41 Genius Camping Hacks You’ll Wish You Thought of Sooner” as a reminder of a website he wanted visit. Yet on the same page, in the midst of the normal life of a high school student, he penned this prayer. It serves as a reminder for how I can approach every seemingly mundane day of the coming year.
